The SEM Model 200 Light Volume Office Disintegrator meets the requirements of both NSA/CSS Specification 02-02 and NSA/CSS 04-02, making it a great choice for paper and optical media. This machine can handle a variety of items and materials that traditional shredders can't, including microfilm, cassettes, sharps, floppy disks and more. Its throughput is 120lbs per hour, and the bin capacity is 35 gallons. The media feed opening measures 2" x 9", and the included screen measures 3/32". Made in America.
The SEM Model 200 Disintegrator has been evaluated by NSA and with the standard 3/32" screen, meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 02-02, High Security Disintegrators for PAPER and NSA/CSS 04-02, OPTICAL MEDIA Destruction Devices. This SEM Disintegrator has been designed to accommodate materials typically not acceptable to a standard paper shredder. With thru-put rates up to 100 lbs/hr., this unit is NSA approved for the destruction of all levels of classified Paper Documents and Optical Media (CDs/DVDs). With an optional 5/64" screen, the model 200 Disintegrator is also NSA/CSS 04-01 approved for KEY TAPE Destruction. This disintegrator also has the flexibility to destroy a variety of media ( INCLUDING USB THUMB DRIVES ) and/or other tems to privacy act (unclassified) level destruction: Paper, ID Badges, Key Access Cards, Microfilm, CD Rom View Graphs, Floppy Discs, Audio Cassettes, Sharps, Plastic Credit Cards. With a larger 1/4" screen this unit can also destroy most cell phones and similar media.
